The golden rule... ICT for functionality...not for IT's sake...
We have a completely unique approach to planning a successful ICT or IT enabled area. We ask you what you want to do with it...
IT is NOT king. An ICT area should be about what youd like the pupils to do, to see and to experience. Once youve defined this we can sit and look at 1000's of solutions and find the perfect fit for YOUR functionality. No disrespect to IT companies, they of course have great products that work but by their nature theyre looking at things through their eyes.
A few simple design questions. Do i really need an expensive graphics card if all i need to do is surf the interenet? How much desk space do I need? how high should the desks be? if im only here for 20 mins a day should it be designed as an IT drop in centre? do we really need an interactive whiteboard or just a low cost projector and screen surface?
Learning Spaces can design, plan and deliver a variety of ICT related work and learning areas including Internet Café’s, Breakout Areas, ICT Classrooms, Flexible Learning Centres and Libraries all with a range of state of the art ICT facilities that best suits what youd like to do. |
