Sam Stevens – Senior Designer
Sam Stevens owner and chief design force behind Learning Spaces hails from the realms of fine art & graphic illustration, 3D design and AV consultancy pooling these resources in a successful career in the creative industries to date. With additional periods spent working in the City teaching IT skills to commercial banking and commerce throughout the 90’s Sam has picked up the many eclectic skills required to drive a truly inspirational design and installation company. With over 11 years experience in commercial design and 3D space planning with a focus of what it takes to turn creativity and design into tangible benefits for school clients across the UK and Europe coupled with a sense of humour which some say is an acquired taste, Sam has worked hard to create a unique and sensitive approach to the design of Education facilities to enhance the enjoyment of teaching and learning for pupils, student and teachers alike.
Julie Wright – Design Consultant
Julie joined Learning Spaces in 2008 after a highly successful career in the recruitment industry working with the top 100 suppliers of education solutions. Julie gained a great insight into the products and resources available to UK Schools and Academies and has put this knowledge and understanding to great use. With three children of her own, Julie has always been actively involved with their education appreciating the real life challenges that schools face, the restraints both financial and practical, giving her a focussed outlook on the solutions that can assist many aspects of school life. She is an absolute joy to work with and as the main force behind the resourcing of new and exciting products always ensures that schools have solutions that enable teaching and learning to be as exciting and engaging as possible.
Stephen Morgan – Design Consultant
Stephen joined Learning Spaces in 2011. He has a military background complete with all the nuances you would expect from 10 years in the armed services. Stephen has predominantly been involved with project & procurement management across Europe for both corporate and private business for 18 years. Since 2005 his career has been spent exclusively within the education sector, working on design projects ranging from small nurseries to large multi-campus Universities. As a secondary school governor himself, Stephen is also able to see and understand the problems and issues our schools face today with regard to finance, procurement and project management. The skill set and knowledge base he brings to Learning Spaces enables us to deliver a high quality design & procurement process for all schools, regardless of size, within a manageable and clearly defined budget.
